Liposuction
If you have excess body fat that you are unable to remove with diet and exercise, liposuction is an excellent option for you. With liposuction surgery at Arcelia, you may have a tighter body and a fit appearance at an inexpensive price, with surgeons who are professionals in their field and excellent service quality.
How is Liposuction Performed?
Liposuction is a procedure that can be done under either local or general anesthetic. Depending on the size of the area and the amount of fat to be removed, the procedure could take anywhere from one to three hours. With overfine cannulas that enter through very small incisions and do not bleed, fat is simply and comfortably removed. There is no disproportion in the body image because the amount of fat extracted is sufficient to fix the impression. Due to the little incisions, post-operative scars are minor and transitory.

What is Liposuction ?
Liposuction is a surgical treatment that permits fat accumulation in areas of the body that are resistant to diet and exercise to be decomposed and eliminated.

The purpose of liposuction is not to lose weight but to provide regional thinning and tightening. It is used to repair regional abnormalities as well as body lines. Liposuction can be used to shape the neck, arms, abdomen, belly, waist, back, hips, legs, and knees, among other places.
Techniques Used in Liposuction Surgery
Tumescent Liposuction
Before the operation, fluid is injected into the relevant area, after then, the cannula (a thin tube) attached to the vacuum machine or syringe to take the fat is inserted into the small incision made in the relevant area, the machine is operated and the shredded fat is absorbed and removed from the operated area.
Ultrasonic Liposuction
The necessary area is first defined and a liquid solution that hardens the skin is injected here in ultrasonic liposuction. A small incision is then created in the cannula, which is connected to a metal rod that emits ultrasonic energy (sound waves) beneath the skin. As a result, the fat cell walls are broken down, making it easier to remove the liquid fat.
Laser Liposuction
The fat is melted and removed from the area after the liquid is injected into the area using laser energy (light waves) at a certain wavelength in this procedure.
After Liposuction Surgery
The time it takes to recover from liposuction varies based on the area of the body where the procedure was performed and the amount of fat removed. Within a few days, you should be able to return to work. After 2-4 weeks, if our doctors think it's safe, you can resume all of your typical activities, including exercise. Depending on the treatment used, the results of liposuction can take anywhere from one to three months to see.
