It is recommended for every healthy person to have a check-up once a year.
Check-up enables the person to recognize his body and learn what his condition is. It allows us to be sensitive to our health, which is very valuable to us and which we do not care enough about in the rush of life.
Check-up is the early evaluation of the condition of healthy individuals so that a possible disease that has not yet caused a complaint can be diagnosed early. Check-up means that a person pays attention to his health.Early diagnosis of some diseases, in particular cancer, is highly important. Therefore, early diagnosis of such diseases increases the success of treatment as a result of check-up scans. Tests that should be included in a standard check-up; blood count, blood tests (liver, kidney, etc.), sedimentation, cholesterol and lipid levels, thyroid (goiter) test, hepatitis (jaundice) test, complete urinalysis, whole abdominal ultrasonography, chest radiography, electrocardiography and blood in the stool.
In addition to the tests that should be performed on all people over the age of 40, it is recommended to perform additional tests for eye examination, cardiological examinations, and cancer screening, regardless of the familial risks. Those who have familial risks should not wait for the age of 40 to have these tests. Those in the risk group should have additional tests related to the risks they carry as of the age of 30.
